National I.T. Professionals Day was created in 2015 in an effort to show appreciation for the tech wizards who take care of the nuts and bolts so that the average worker’s station stays hooked up to the county network and operates flawlessly.

September 21st is World Alzheimer’s Day

This day was established to bring awareness to Alzheimer’s and Dementias throughout the entire world. Currently 6 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease, but by 2050, these numbers will increase drastically.

Senior yearbook ads are officially on sale now through November.  This is a time-honored tradition where parents can create a personalized message to honor their senior in the 2023 yearbook.

Free and Reduced Meal Applications Now Available

For the past two years, the Columbia County School District has been delighted to offer breakfast and lunch to all children at no cost. This was made possible thanks to the generous support of the USDA reimbursing schools for meals served to students, regardless of household income. However, this funding will no longer be available next school year.
