Welcome to AP Government and Politics!

The 2024 Summer Assignment for AP US Government and Politics is below.

  1. Join the AP Government Summer Google Classroom.  The join code is:  m4dfj3i
  2. The summer assignment is posted in the Summer Google Classroom and you can turn it in there.  If you are new to the county and can not join the Google Classroom, the Unit 1 Google Slides pdf and Unit 1.1-1.3 Reading Guide and the Unit 1.4-1.6 Reading Guide are linked above.  Please complete the Reading Guides and email them to [email protected] and don’t forget to include your full name.
  3. Reading is the best way to learn.  We recommend buying the Advanced Placement United States Government & Politics, 3rd Edition student edition softcover book for $22.95 from the publisher linked below. We will be using this review book all year.  It is much easier to understand and aligned with the test.  https://www.perfectionlearning.com/advanced-placement-united-states-government-politics-3rd-edition-t3202-g.html
  4. Students then need to view the Google Slide Show for Unit 1 and use it to answer the Unit 1.1-1.3 Reading Guide and the 1.4-1.6 Reading Guide.  Both of these Reading Guides need to be turned in here by Thurs., Aug. 8th.
