AP Calculus AB Summer Assignment Information:

All students registered to take AP Calculus AB need to join the summer assignment Google Classroom using the code iqvwezfn. There are Delta Math practice problems that cover the College Board identified prerequisite skills. Make sure to read through their examples and watch their videos on concepts that you are weak in. This summer assignment is required and will be a grade in the course. It will be due at the end of the first day of school and entered in the gradebook at that time.

Students that are unable to access Google Classroom (students new to Columbia County Schools or students that are traveling internationally) need to email Mrs. Sasser to ask to be placed in the Delta Math assignments.

There is no summer assignment for BC Calculus other than review all parent functions along with polynomial, polar & parametric equations. We will review these in class the first week of school and there will be a quiz the second week of school.

Optional Summer work for AP Psychology 2026-27

If you want to get some resources be sure they are new because the curriculum changed recently making all previous resources a little less accurate and some parts obsolete.

I recommend the Princeton review for AP Psychology (make sure it says for the updated test and is at least the 22nd or 23rd edition. Not sure when the 24th comes out.

If you want to get Flashcards I suggest the Barron's Flashcards for AP Psychology and it needs to be at least the 6th edition.

None of this is required, but these resources help students get ready and many will wait until the week before the AP Exam in May and then cannot get what they need in time. They may have friends that took the class last year that would be willing to lend them these as well. All are available in book stores or on-line.

No summer work is required for AP US Government and Politics. However, we ask that you consider purchasing a copy ofAMSCO Advanced Placement United States Government & Politics, 3^rd edition.

It is $30.60 (plus shipping) to purchase the book through the publisher, and you're sure to have the newest edition. However, if you have a sibling or friend who has taken AP Gov recently, you can use their book. Please make sure if you're purchasing the book from a source other than the publisher (like Thrift Books, eBay or Amazon) that you're purchasing the 3^rd edition. Older editions are not recommended.

The purchase of this book is recommended but not required. Students who don't purchase their own copy of the AMSCO book will not be penalized. These books are available for classroom use, and scanned copies of the readings will be available through Google Classroom. However, many students benefit from having their own physical copy of the book to read and annotate throughout the year.
