Athletic Program
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Greenbrier High School Athletic Department is to offer a variety of sports that help students develop into mature, responsible individuals. Through participation in these sports, student-athletes will gain valuable experience in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, commitment, leadership, and good work ethic.
Our overall goal is the combination of excellence in both academic and athletic competition.

Academic Requirements to be Eligible for Athletics
During the 2021 legislative session, the Georgia General Assembly passed the Dexter Mosely Act (Senate Bill 42). This legislation authorizes home study students in grades 6 - 12 to participate in extracurricular and interscholastic activities in the student’s resident public school system, with the requirement of certain notification and course enrollment provisions.
2024 - 2025 Deadlines
July 4th - Fall and Winter Season (All paperwork must be submitted by June 15, 2024
December 5th - Spring (All paperwork must be submitted by November 15, 2024
