Athletic Program

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Greenbrier High School Athletic Department is to offer a variety of sports that help students develop into mature, responsible individuals. Through participation in these sports, student-athletes will gain valuable experience in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, commitment, leadership, and good work ethic.

 

Our overall goal is the combination of excellence in both academic and athletic competition.

Although all Columbia County high school athletic events are now cashless entry through the Georgia High School Association sponsored GoFan app or website GOFAN spectators do have an option of purchasing hard copy tickets for REGULAR SEASON events at the Greenbrier High School front office on Mondays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Academic Requirements to be Eligible for Athletics

To be eligible for athletics, including One Act Competition and Literary Competition, you must be enrolled in five classes, or enrolled in classes with at least 2.5 carnegie units.
