Course Description
This course conforms to the prescribed College Board topics and examination. This course covers federalism, separation of powers, influences on the formulation and adoption of the Constitution, political beliefs, political parties and elections, interest groups, institutions and policy processes, and civil liberties and civil rights. (This course may be substituted for the required course SOC303-American Government; however, students must complete the entire AP Government course (2 semesters) in order to meet graduation requirement for Government.)
