Mrs. Peel

WELCOME:  I am so excited that you are in the Education pathway with me!  Whether you are interested in teaching, coaching or childcare (or anything related to working with kids), you will find something you like here.  There are three courses that must be taken in order to complete the pathway.  Successful completers will earn college credit at Augusta University.
BIO: Nancye Peel is a Richmond Academy graduate and received a B.S in Family and Consumer Sciences from The University of Georgia in 1999.  She also holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  Mrs. Peel is married with two children ages 15 and 10 years.  She is a hobby breeder of Labrador Retrievers and enjoys sewing, gardening and live music. She was honored to take over the Education pathway from Debbie Seymour in 2014, after she spent over a decade teaching in Richmond County (Westside High School & Richmond Academy), Panama City Beach and Williamsburg, Virginia.  Mrs. Peel was able to establish Westside High School's Education pathway as one of 22 industry certified Education programs by the state of Georgia.  Most recently at Greenbrier, she was able to obtain college credit for pathway completers from both Augusta Tech and Augusta University, and continues to work to get credit at post secondary schools throughout the state.
