LFH
Today I am reflecting on the LFH initiative.  Students, teachers, and parents are expected to learn everything I know in a few days!  How overwhelming can that be?  I can only imagine the anxiety of students worried about GPA.  Parents wanting to help, but have no idea how to help.  Parents are doing the best they can.  Teachers are trying to use technology the best way possible to support students as well as parents.  I have to tell myself, so I want to tell you.........just breath!  You are probably saying, "Easy for you to say, you know all this already!". I agree, but that's why I say, "Just breath".  Because, I am here to help you.  Please don't hesitate contact me.  My job is to support the staff and students, but I am here to suppport you as well.  So.........my promise to you is to help you "breath" a little easier.
RAW at River Ridge
Read Across America Week 2020 was truly memorable.  Each day our students went to our feeder schools beginning with River Ridge (photo above) and we ended with Riverside.  I think our students enjoyed reading to the younger children just as much as the elementary students loved seeing them!  I remember one comment a young kindergarten student asked one of the football players as he glared up at him was, "Can you really fit through the door?".  Our students felt like super stars!  It was just a great week.
